Phenolic aramid honeycomb are made from aramid fiber honeycomb paper and phenolic resin, they are widely used in sports and leisure industries, such as surfboards, pleasure boats, skis and auto racing bodies, transportation industries, such as train panels and ground transportation structures and special projects for marine ground antennas, navy joiner panels and military shelters.
As to phenolic aramid honeycomb, there are four specifications to determined , density, cell size, cell type and thickness.
Firstly, the density, the pop density is 32kg/m3, 40kg/m3,48kg/m3,64kg/m3 and so on
Secondly, is the cell size, there are 1.83mm, 2.75mm and 5.5mm
Thirdly, is the cell type. There are three type, Hexagonal, Over expanded, and flexible core, I will show the sheet for them now.
